Matt Sadl has been in the concrete business for more than 25 years and worked his way up from skilled laborer to owner of his own concrete contracting company. In discussing a pool deck re-surfacing job with a client, he started researching best-in-class solutions for a surface that would reduce the risk of slips and falls and create a custom finish that was resistant to cracks. Rubaroc® poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing was the ideal product.
The benefit of a poured-in-place, troweled polymer resin was seen in one of his first jobs — the creation of a colorful custom logo for the St. Louis Rams Training Academy directly embedded into the flooring surface. In Spring 2015, he also was able to secure Rubaroc’s largest home bid project to date — a 9,800 square foot project in Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., that included 1,700 vertical feet of steps, plus patio decking and pool coping.
